The Story of Della Aliyah, the Best Graduate of a Bachelor of Fashion Design Education Study Program

Della Aliyah (22 years) who is also called Della became the best graduate of the Bachelor of Fashion Design Education Study Program, Faculty of Technology and Vocational Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia at the UPI Batch III Graduation Year 2020.

She took her first education at Al-Murtadlo Kindergarten, followed by formal education at Al-Murtadlo Elementary School/MI. Then continued at Al-Masoem Middle School and Al-Masoem Jatinangor High School and also the pesantren for six years.

The eldest of three children from Mr Delap Setia Dharmawan and Mrs Nurfaizah admitted that she often got the first rank and received scholarships during junior high and high school.

Della aspires to be a designer and eventually continues her studies at the Fashion Design Education Study Program, Faculty of Technology and Vocational Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia through the national university entrance test.

Since high school, she has always written the targets she would like to achieve on a paper inserted it in the Koran, and several of her targets have been achieved. One of which is to attend UPI, majoring in Fashion Design Education. She did not aim to be the best graduate before, but she wanted to graduate on time with a Cum laude Achievement Index. She believes that the target she wrote would be achieved if she is confident, works hard and prays. "I believe that to be the best and achieve success, it must be accompanied by hard work and prayer," she said.

During her undergraduate study, Della actively participated in activities related to Fashion Design, including a volunteer at several events such as the Devasana UPI 2017 Fashion Show, the Event Division, the Brellafos UPI 2018 Fashion Show, Wardrobe Division, and Indonesia Fashion Week 2019 for the wardrobe designer Mayesa as a model at the 2018 FPTK Vocafest Fashion Show, as a designer at the 2018 PKK Anniversary, and as a carnival contestant at the 63rd and 64th Anniversary of UPI.

The achievements that have been achieved include being the first winner of UPI representative in the 2018 Asia Africa Conference Carnival competition. In 2017, she participated in the Student Creativity Program in Entrepreneurship (PKM-K). In 2018, following PKM in the field of community service (PKM-M), and passed the selection to the Faculty stage.
