Students of the Welfare Education Study Program, Faculty of Technology and Vocational Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (PKK FPTK UPI) show their achievements again. This time through Nikita Nindya Prathevi, class of 2019. She won the 1st place in the student category in the Community Service Ad Video Contest in the Pekan Untuk Sahabat Karakter (PUSAKA) 2020 event.
This competition was organized by the Center for Strengthening the Character of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia. Announcement of the winners is performed through Zoom meeting application and live streaming through the Smart Character Youtube channel of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia.
"Keadaan Kahar" is the title of a video that is included in a series of competitions with guidance from the lecturers. This video made in collaboration with colleagues from other campuses, namely Geamy Permata Wijaya from Pasundan University and Farhan Maulana from the Indonesian Computer University, said Nikita.
"My team and I presented a story under the theme for the student category, namely" strong with friends ". The story begins with the character "Niki" who is tested positive for the Coronavirus and is afraid of being abandoned by her friends, but that fear disappears as support or enthusiasm from her friends comes. With a duration of two minutes the video has received 377 likes and 1,649 views, "said Nikita.
Hopefully, this public service advertisement video will give support and encouragement for those who are struggling, one of which is health workers who are still struggling, people who are exposed and others. Hopefully, the message in this video can be conveyed to the audience as well. It is important to support and strengthen each other, especially in difficult times like this pandemic. May all of us always be surrounded by the grace and protection of God Almighty. Being grateful that during this pandemic, we can create works, with good collaboration and teamwork, efforts and prayers as well as support from many parties. Alhamdulillah, we won the 1st place, all of this cannot be separated from the prayers and support of our parents, our lecturers, Dra. Hj. Neni Rohaeni, M. Pd and Nenden Rani Rinekasari, S.P., M.Pd and all of our friends who supported us with their likes and shares, "Nikita concluded.
