The Third Webinar Series: Observing Business Potential with Logistics Engineering Program of Study

The Logistics Engineering Program of Study, Faculty of Technology and Vocational Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (FPTK UPI) held the third webinar series (2/8), with the theme "Observation of Business Potential". The event was part of a series of Community Service (PkM) activities in the student debriefing program in the field of entrepreneurship to aid in the formation of new independent entrepreneurs, especially among students of the UPI Logistics Engineering Program of Study.

This PkM activity was held virtually in collaboration with the Logistics Engineering Student Association (HMTL) through the Zoom platform. The speaker was Muhamad Bariq Khalifa, S.T as the owner of Hamdallah Duta Laksana (HDL Tour and Holiday). The activity was moderated by Saskia Kanisaa Puspanikan, S.T., M.A.B. from the PkM Team of the UPI Logistics Engineering Program of Study.

The speaker explained that to be a successful businessman, one must be willing to take risks. “As a businessman, you must also be able to maintain a growth mindset and add insight to develop a larger business,” Bariq Khalifa stated.  He also shared how to find potential and business opportunities. To see a business's potential, three factors must be considered which are the market, the product, and the relationship. This will be useful for ensuring the long-term viability and addressing future business challenges, such as the COVID-19 pandemic. The final session concluded with a question-and-answer session and discussion among participants and the speaker.
